About Me

Let's Get Acquainted

Thank you for visiting Blaze Electronics, my name is Danny,  I am the owner, and just thought I would share a little bit about how we came to be.  In the late 90's into the turning of the millennium, and the Y2K non event, I was a PC Hardware technician, however I left the field and became an Electrician. Fast forward to March of 2020, being layed off because of the pandemic. I spent everyday home, being able to hear our grandsons first words, watched him go from crawling to walking.  Priceless moments I would not have otherwise been able witness, because I would have been at work. Ironically the same little boy ended up dropping my cellphone and cracking the screen. Being that I had been eligible for an upgrade, i elected to get a new phone rather than repairing the damaged one. No big deal, it wasn't the first time, and most likely not the last.  It was the moment the salesman at the cellphone store told me the device I had paid 1000 dollars for, only 2 years prior, was now only worth $ 40 dollars! No way was I making Verizon even richer, I knew they would somehow profit off of my misfortune.  I would let that broken IPhone 11 Pro Max, sit in my junk drawer for all eternity before I sold it back to Verizon for $40 bucks...NOT HAPPENING!  So I started thinking, who could I sell my broken phone to...I could get it fixed first, that I knew would cost a few hundred dollars, then I could list it on marketplace or Ebay..someone would definitely take it!

Then I remembered selling on Ebay before, I sold a laptop a few months before, I didn't know first I had to create an Ebay account, so I did. I sold the laptop, but didn't know, because I was a new seller, I had to wait to be paid for my laptop, until it was actually delivered to the customer..ok no  big deal. Except the buyer was never home, when delivery was attempted, my laptop ended up sitting at the post office over a week before the buyer picked it up. So around 10 days later I  got paid...finally!!  OK well at least I sold it right? Wrong! The very next day I got a message from Ebay stating the buyer wants to return the item...because he changed his mind! Seriously? OK So they automatically refunded the persons money...and guess what happened next? Another week goes by, and I finally receive a package..which should be my laptop I plan to try selling again. Well it was my laptop, but the person opened it up removed the hard drive and memory! I couldn't believe someone could be so dishonest. In the end Ebay took the buyers side...which I later found out they always do..I was out the money and the laptop. I  was absolutely  irate. There had to be a better way. I knew pawn shops were a rip off, wasn't there someone that could give me a decent price for this broken phone without all the hassle?  That's when it hit me!

I decided right then, that I was going to be the solution to the problem I was having, and I knew so many  other honest hard working people were having as well.  I started researching and found buyers that would buy new, used and even broken phones and electronics either to repair and resell or to use for parts!! And there it was! It dawned on me that I could be the link between the customer that had devices either broken, no longer used, or even sometimes brand new. I know I've gotten gifts that I didn't need or want.

I could give customers a fair price, much better than cell providers, and pawn shops, I could help them avoid an Ebay nightmare scam like I had faced, and I could do it in a safe, reliable way. The customer gets more value than they would have,  I would resell to established resellers , make a modest profit, and be able to work from home, and be able to meet and pay customers in cash, and all they had to do was, shoot me a quick text, whenever they were in need of fast cash, and had a device or several devices they no longer needed.

Lets be honest, these are crazy times we are living in. Covid 19, racial tensions, and rioting, its scary. Everyone has to be more cautious. We provide a safe transaction EVERYTIME! WE always meet our customers in a public place, where they can feel 100% at ease, we actually prefer to do our exchanges inside Woodbridge Police Station Lobby.  After all we are exchanging expensive devices for cash, where safer than a police station right?

We fill out a legal Bill of Sale, and require a valid form of identification for every sale.  We do not buy stolen nor illegal items. We pay cash or with social distancing in mind we can also provide instant EPayments, using Zelle, Cashapp, or Venmo platforms.
